Product Headings not lining up

In list view of my products, products are in five columns:Thumbnail Image, product name,model ,price, manufaturer.
At the top of the array there are headings for product name,model ,price, manufaturer. (.productlisting-heading)
There is no heading for the thumbnail image.
So the product headings are all moved over one column to the left, with name appearing over the thumbnail and a blank with no background color appearing over the manfacturer.
Any ideas? PLease?

That is correct. What is it going to say, other than the obvious? (Rhetorical). Add it if you feel it's needed.
Looks like you are missing

<td class="productListing-heading" align="center" style="cellpadding: 3px">  </td>

before

<td class="productListing-heading" style="cellpadding: 3px">
<a class="productListing-heading" title="Sort products descendingly by Product Name" .....

The issue is not that I want to have a product heading for the thumbnail column, It is the shifting of product headings to the left.
The headings do not align with the proper content.
Product name aligns above the thumbnail, Model Aligns above the product name, ect., leaving no heading above rightmost column manufacturer.

While I don't think a workaround should be necessary (Alignment of heading and content being pretty fundemental) a workaround of adding a cell would probably work.
What file provides the structure for the products in list view?

No need to spell it out - I did grasp what you were looking for but you mentioned lack of image heading, hence its' inclusion.
So you'd like me to do the hard work of tracing which file creates it..

Try temporarily removing the Manufacturer column - does it the align correctly? [Just part of the debug process.]

The problem was resolved by setting product listing configuration for display corner banners to 0.
This is in direct contradiction to the configuration note :
Please note that this must be set to 1 to work properly, if turned off (0) then column titles will not line up over their respective elements.

Apologies - my coding there! Can someone add to the bugtracker and I will fix for the next release (assuming Michael returns to do it - or gives us the keys to do it ourselves!)
