Double-post: Apologizes in Advance...Urgent!!!
I managed to get osCommerce ver2ms2 installed on my w2k3 server that running IIS6, php4.3.4, and MySQL 5. I'm at the point where I can click either the catalog or admin tool buttons and get a blank page after clicking either of these. Chapter 5 of the manual listed on this site says to make the following changes to the configure.php file located in the catalog\includes directory:
Change the following after installation:
/includes/configure.php
The line in the configure.php :
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/catalog/'); // absolute path required
can be changed to :
define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/'); // absolute path required
and change these lines:
define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', $DOCUMENT_ROOT);
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT . DIR_WS_CATALOG);
to
define('DIR_FS_DOCUMENT_ROOT', '/home/serverusername/public_html');
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/serverusername/public_html/');
Change the /admin/includes/configure.php to match this as well.
The problem is that I don't see some of these files listed in my configure.php file. Instead I see the following:
<?php
/*

define('HTTP_SERVER', ''); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers
define('HTTPS_SERVER', ''); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers
define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?
define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');
define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');
define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '');

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '');
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '');
define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', dirname($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['SCRIPT_FILENAME']));
define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'download/');
define('DIR_FS_DOWNLOAD_PUBLIC', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'pub/');
// define our database connection

define('DB_DATABASE', 'oscommerce');
define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false'); // use persistent connections?
define('STORE_SESSIONS', ''); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql'
?>
So my question is what exactly should I be changing? I see
define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '');
Should I change this to reflect what's listed in the configure.php file? Or am I missing something?
Any responses are appreciated.
