admin not recieving order confirmation email, nor no emails through contact us

For some reason admin doesn't recieve a order confirmation email and also the contact_us online form doesn't recieve emails anymore. It may also be possible that customers aren't receiving emails but I have not had any complaints yet..

My email address has been working perfectly for several years but sky recently changed there email software to yahoo so I am not sure if this is connected to this issue?

Can anyone help?

If you were previously setup with the default php mail in Admin., then switch to SMTP email and use the appropriate mail login credentials.

Have you checked your SPAM folder ... yahoo is pretty extreme when it comes to filtering inbound emails.

If you have upgrade your store you can turn on the new "send copy of all email to" in Admin -> Configuration -> General Settings -> My Store.

I've had a mess about with my test store and think I have fixed the problem.
