Default Customers seeing other customers carts/details

Hi, I'm having a problem with customers on my site seeing other customers details and carts, obviously adding items to other carts, etc. At the checkout other customers details appear in the shipping section, when they change the details it skips the payment page!

    i'm using oscmax v2.0.
sessions > prevent spider sessions > true
    (everything else to false)

    i'm not brilliant at coding!

    please help!

    thanks Michelle

In your sessions settings set Recreate session to true.

Also, make sure you are not hard-coding session id's into links that you make. Any manually created links must never have the osCid part added to them.

Thank you for the reply i've changed the Recreate session to true.

but you've lost me on the second part, i'm not sure what 'hard-coding session id's into links that you make' means?

could you give me an example of 'Any manually created links must never have the osCid part added to them'?

    ____

i was using my mac and PC logged in as two different customers and i could see each others info until
under sessions i changed the following:
Check SSL Session ID > true
    Check User Agent > true
    Check IP Address > true

this seems to have sorted the problem! i hope!

    thanks
