Order Process Email: "ATTENTION message"

After the upgrade to 2.0.25 I noticed several times a message in the top of the order confirmation email sent to me:

QUOTE
ATTENTION: This email address was given to us by someone who visited our online store. If this was not done by you please email us at "store email address" Thank you for shopping with us and have a great day.
UNQUOTE

I have not been able to duplicate this in a test order to find out if and when the customer sees the same, but I assume he/she does. I do not see the purpose of this message. If somebody is shopping illegally he is not going to have the email sent to someone else, or are they that stupid???

Does anyone know what module is generating this remark and what event is triggering this. It does not happen all the time.
If I cannot think of a good reason for this message I want to remove it.

In today's climate of scamming activity, this form of message is pretty much standard across many email systems. Either you don't sign up for many things or you're the person who tried to ssh into my server this morning and got blocked!
Of course the US sense of Consumer Protection appears to be far less sophisticated than other non-Third World countries, so if adamant to remove, it is your choice.
Meantime, use your favourite search tool to find the phrase, then remove...

In my opinion, of course - not the 'corporate' view.

Don't think for a minute that this "note" is not common practice in the US. I see them multiple times a day. I know, there is more to it than my initial remark addresses. I guess my objection is more to the execution than to the message itself.
a. these ATTENTION messages are usually included in emails coming from "noreply" servers. In our case the receiver can simply hit the reply button and return the message. Our order confirmations come from a "sales" email address. So the message is not really called for.
b. In almost all "noreply" emails this ATTENTION message is embedded in a small-print footnote and not in the first paragraph of the main email.
In our order confirmation we do not want this note to be jumping at our audience before the main message. Making it seem that most of our emails suffer from the phenomena of unintended orders.
I hope this clarifies my issue.
BTW beforehand I used Explorer search to find said ATTENTION note in the code, but no luck. I guess I will have to look for a different search tool.

Glad my response was received, in the light-hearted tone that it was intended to be in.

Explorer should be able to find the phrases using the Search in Files option, if not Notepad++ does a wonderful job.
Use a subset of the phrase: This email address was given to us by someone who visited our online store
