I am building a new site based on v2. My client wants to place on the home page the main sections of his site, ie the master categories.

However when you click on the master category all he wants to see on the next page listing in column left is the sub categories of that category not ALL the categories of the site. I have seen this done once but cannot remember the sql to do it again.

any ideas...
