hiring programmer to install option_type_feature v1.6 mod in

Hello,

I need help installing the oscommerce mod called option_type_feature_v1.6

I have read all the install instructions but when i installed it my template was broken among other things.

I just got a prog called "beyond compare" When i compare the files is all I have to do is merge the the modded file into the corresponding file from osc max?

I really need this mod before I can do anything because I sell personalized products where the customer can input a name or saying.

Please advise or let me know how much it will cost to have someone with some knowledge in this area install it for me.
