I have found from the host that the problem is that the server the site is on has Fast CGI installed, causing a problem with the shared SSL. Are there any problems using OSCMax with a server with FCGI?

The underlying PHP delivery shouldn't make any difference and permissions, paths, memory limitations are much more likely to be the cause.
