Default Problem with Magic Seo Url

Although my friendly urls are working fine, I have one small bug I can't resolve but would love your help.
I have already contacted the developer of this add on and here is what I have been told.
    ###########################
    Hello Tony,

It was little hell for me, but finally I know what is causing such
malfunction. The problems is, that Apache web server has other Rewrite
Rule (placed in main configuration files) or there are loaded some bad
    configured module in Apache.
How can I proove it? It is simple. If I make .htaccess file blank
    https://www.spare-parts-pro.com/account/create.html is still redirected
    to https://www.spare-parts-pro.com/login.php?my_account_f= (I also found
that it is not redirected by script, but by web server).

Please make sure there are no other Rewrite Rules in main configuration
files of Apache and also all Apaches's modules are configured correctly.

Usually all troubles are caused by mod_negotiation - this module is
loaded by default and in most cases is bad configured.

    Hope it helps.

    ################################

You see the problem is with create account link on the members page. This url doesn't resolve correctly possibly because of the conflict mentioned above.
Has anybody experienced the same and how did you resolve it.

    As always help is appreciated.

    kind regards Tony

We don't support commercial products here, so you will have to get it resolved by the developer.

I figured that as this product is advertised here in this forum there might be at least one or two that might have hit a problem with this.
My domain is hosted with AABox which is also advertised here so I guess I will have to go to support and ask them about the config files.
This is a shame. Not the answered I was expecting here.

    regards Tony

How can anyone support it here? We do not own the code, have access to the code, or have the right to modify the code.

It has to be purchased in order for anyone here to understand how it works, and since this forum is to support free, open source code, not proprietary, commercial software, there should be no expectation that we would provide free support to a commercial product.

Your expectation of a free forum to support paid software is not fair to this community or realistic, and your disappointment should be focused on the company you paid that is not providing adequate support.

If you purchase software from a company, you should go the the company you paid to support that software. Coming here to get support for it is the same as going to a tv network to get help cleaning your carpets because a carpet cleaner you bought is advertised on one of their tv shows...

Magic Seo Url advertises that it has been tested and works with oscmax and I received an email stating such so they should support you. But after trolling around I noticed many sites that use it pr in the google tool bar are greyed out on the home page. So I wonder if it is causes a penalty of some sort. I also remember reading in a forum somewhere about a bug fix for Magic seo url and the create account page.

Just had another thought. Get something like xampp and put your shop on your local machine where you have complete control over appache config files and if it doesent work there then you need to go back and ask for your money back Xampp is free and easy to install. Plus you can test test test

It's a shame Michael would get his back up over this. I was merely asking thoughts on the mod_negotiation issue and if anybody had experienced it.
I pasted the reply I had from the developer here so you could see he had done his homework and never once did I ask that someone would debug the code.
I already have my own dedicated server which I intend to test this out on. The only reason I opted for AABox hosting was because they support the installation of OscMax. I'm also a subscriber to Xshop - another commercial product!
I will install a fresh OscMax without mods and then add the Magic Seo.
If everything works out Ok, I am going to take a stab my host AABox have a misconfiguration otherwise I will report back to the developer.

    kind regards Tony

It is sad to say you don't trust me, but I am sure that the problem is caused by other Apache modules, especially by mod_negotiation (We have about ten customers in the past experiencing same problem with mod_negotiation loaded into Apache).

GTPR is grayed on the Google Toolbar, because there were no PR export for a long time.
I also have no info about penalization of any Magic SEO URL powered store and you?

Tony, you posted to an oscmax support forum. When you do so, it is implicit that you want support. If you wanted to just casually talk about the product, post in the off topic forums.

Since you posted to the oscmax support forum, I informed you that we don't support commercial scripts. When you seemed to be disappointed with that reply, I then felt it necessary to clarify with an example.

I did not "get my back up" at all. I was just providing information so you understand that you will not get support for that product here and why. If you choose to disagree with me, that is fine, but that does not change the fact that we cannot and will not provide support for commercial software.

Since this is not a support thread, I have moved it to the Off Topic forums.
