Order Process confirmation email not sending [2.5.4 and 2.5.5], other emails do send

I am running 2.5.4 for my live shop and I also have a test site on 2.5.5.

Both send new customer welcome email, customer comment updates, contact us works, but neither will send the Order Process email when a new order is placed.

I've checked with godaddy and there are no restrictions on my email relay server.

It looks like this email is generated in the checkout_process.php page which is identical between 2.5.4 and 2.5.5dev. I see code in there that looks like it is related to generating an order notification email but I'm not sure what is what...

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to look or how to test this function?

After searching both google and turning up some oscommerce and oscmax threads I came across a few related posts:

This post #4 from jpf Re: Editing text in order confirmation email pointed me to the file ...includes/languages/english/checkout_process.php and define('EMAIL_TEXT_SUBJECT', ' Order Process'); suggesting that some mail servers might block 'Order Process'.

As mentioned, I just called Godaddy and had them check my mail server settings, they confirmed I have no restrictions inplace. Unfortunately I have an old Godaddy account without cPanel (they will gladly upgrade me for a small fortune) so I cannot see any of these settings/reports/filters myself.

With that said, after reading jpf's thread I changed 'Order Process' to 'MyStore Order Confirmation' and guess what, my first test order sent the order confirmation email. I am assuming godaddy/secureserver.net were blocking these from sending even though they said there were no restrictions in place.

Granted I've just made this change and only tested twice but it's been 6+ months since I received an order confirmation email and customers email me asking if my order was received. After this one change I received the confirmation email so my fingers are crossed this will continue to work on godaddy.

I regret to report that my order confirmation emails have stopped sending again. All other store emails function properly. I'm back to the drawing boards. I am running 2.5.5 Develop with One Page checkout enabled becuase withouth OPC I get an error at .../checkout_payment.php

I'm running a new store with 2.4.5 While testing, I DID get some "Order Process" emails. Now that the store is live, I am NOT getting these emails?? That's really confusing, I have no idea what might have changed the behavior. It would be really nice to have these email working for extra documentation.

I've been having the same issue for the last couple of days. I don't know why. I updated a few programs on my computer, but I'm sure it's a coincidence that the problem started at the same time. Nothing that even remotely related to this. I'd appreciate any suggestions on what to do.
