USPS is making changes again.. the module will need to be updated I think (maybe depending on which services you tick or not tick) I am still running 2.0.25/35 and never updated the module from the last change (looks like Jan 2013) so now I am so leery if things will continue to function.. someone posted an update ( USPS Rate V4, Intl Rate V2 (official support thread) - Page 25 - Shipping Modules - osCommerce Support Forum (http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/383307-usps-rate-v4-intl-rate-v2-official-support-thread/page__st__480#entry1676289) ) but that module is oh so different from mine ;( osCommerce Community Add-Ons (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/487) looks like it is for the newer is 2.3.1 version and I believe will not function on MAX -- osCommerce Community Add-Ons (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8403) is the one I am using, though not the most current.. direction anyone????

Regards,
Spoke with ridexbuilder (http://www.oscmax.com/forums/members/ridexbuilder.html) on this topic this AM..I am currently using USPS Rate V4 Intl Rate V2 - v.1.7 - but the update just before that one.. and its working. The one you and ridexbuilder suggest is a osc mod specifically built for the osC2.3.x version. The one you now have in max 2.5.4 looks like the same one I see the link for at osC forums. That is the version that is set to work in osC2.3.x but it wont work in 2.0.25/35 If you poke around the "add-ons" @ osC you'll see but you have to LOOK, its for osCv2.3.x or 2.0.x and in the osC the forums, you will see a huge thread and that's a huge point of major confusion between osC and module version numbers, what will and will not work with what osC version because of the core changes.. since I am not running oscMAX 2.5.x. The version you point to is SO very different than mine, I do not belive its going to work ;(

After much discussion and poking with some people over at the osC Forums, I figured out whats going to work for me (hopefully!) and my MAX v2.0.x tomorrow when the USPS changes take place
start with: osCommerce Community Add-Ons (http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/487)
USPS Methods 5.2.1 - Bug Fix Jan 24 2011 (need the language and install files)
swap the /catalog/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php file out for this one:
POST #510 USPS Rate V4, Intl Rate V2 (official support thread) - Page 26 - Shipping Modules - osCommerce Support Forum (http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/383307-usps-rate-v4-intl-rate-v2-official-support-thread/page__st__500#entry1676663)
ridexbuilder is poking around right now in getting the MAX version right.. that version looks like it starts with USPS Methods 6.0 complete (on the same osC MOD page) the USPS 6.x versions are FAR different than the 5.2.1 versions - the big clue there is if you have USPS_methods_utility.php
Your mileage WILL vary depending on what version of the USPS module you have installed now.. you most likely will have to go HUNTING for the code to change/replace/add after

well #1 I think ridexbuilder hates me now.. (thanks EJ for your help) There are about 4 modules that people are using, some will not work with the newer version of osC, all would need tweaking to work with max 2.5 because of the move of the language files at a minimum. The support over there is out of control because - even myself - no one knows exactly what version they are using (I do now!) Some, as you can assume, are not even sure what version of osC they might be using! So I finally got USPS Rate V4, Intl Rate V2 USPS Rate V4, Intl Rate V2 (official support thread) - Shipping Modules - osCommerce Support Forum (http://forums.oscommerce.com/topic/383307-usps-rate-v4-intl-rate-v2-official-support-thread/) working for the most part on my carts.. a rough 3 days..
