Is this feature possible?

I am trying to modify the category php codes. Originally, the category shows the items assigned in the database. However, I am trying to modify the code to enable the category to show the items from outside database(such as yahoo shopping website).

So far I am wondering is there any efficient way to do this feature? What I think of is to modify the index.php codes, but seems it will destroy all the structure. If anyone has some suggestion, please tell me, thanks in advance.

You could always use the URL linkage in the product ... then remove the cart functions - add to cart etc. Although, it seems a bit of odd thing to do - if you want people to shop at yahoo stores then just build your store there! Regards,
