Hopefully there is already a fix for this or something out there, so if someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

We have shipping prices set by the value of your order, which the standard Table Rate will work great for. However, am running into a problem in that we do offer 3-Day, 2-Day and Next Day Air shipments with additional cost. My table rates on my osCommerce site, currently running at The Fly Shop (http://store.theflyshop.com/catalog) works great, but can't figure out how to add the additional options with precalculated prices. We found it for the osCommerce and maybe we should be using the same coding.

An example of our prices is:

$1-$24.99 = $6.95
$25 - $49.99 = $8.95
$50 - $99.99 = $10.95
etc.

The issue is when the Air shipments come into play in which the table should be:

3 Day Air:
$1 - $24.99 = $21.95 (a $15.00 addition to the above shipping costs)

2 Day Air:
$1 - $24.99 = $31.95 (a $25.00 addition to the above shipping costs)

Next Day Air:
$1 - $24.99 = $41.95 (a $35.00 addition to the above shipping costs)

You could copy Table Rate to 3 other table rates, calling them 3 Day Air, 2 Day Air and Next Day Air, with the respective surcharge added (or as a handling charge, to save time when updating).
The Table Rate shipping (sic) method is the most straightforward to replicate.
From your previous post(s), I reckon you're capable of that?

ridexbuilder,

Thank you for your quick response. I will take a look at doing it this way. I saw that on another thread, but thought maybe someone had already created an add-on for this.

You were right on with the Gift Voucher setup. Just didn't quite understand until I created it on the Development site and tested an order for one. Now it works great and is much simpler than I thought. I want to add some information to the Wiki on this subject to simplify what another person like me would see. How would I go about doing that?

Thanks,

tfsterry

I'm sure many would appreciate your efforts, regarding adding to the wiki: http://wiki.oscdox.com/start?do=register

The shipping suggestion is by far not the only way but a quick and relatively easy way to implement your requirements. I normally only do shipping methodologies for clients/ad-hoc jobs but occasionally give something back (the lack of beer money means there ain't more). Have a look at the details of:
osCMax International Table Rate Shipping Module (http://info.ejsolutions.co.uk/oscmax/permalink/oscmax-international-table-rate-shipping-module/)

and
osCMax First Plus Zones Shipping Module (http://info.ejsolutions.co.uk/oscmax/permalink/oscmax-first-plus-zone-shipping-module/)

Thank you for your assistance on this and for giving me additional suggestions. I like the beer money reference. Your help on this has been invaluable and has ultimately saved me a bunch of time.
