How do I edit graphic buttons?

How can I change the background of the following buttons? And make lettering black bold?

Unless you have a good graphic editor (photoshop, various others) you will not be able to do that.

So get a graphic editor and either create new buttons or make whatever edits are needed to change the existing ones.
