Hi Mike,
New site looks good and seems to work pretty well. I had problems using the old max site with Firefox, but this one seems good.
One question, is the "Quick Reply" dissabled? It's grayed out and would not work for this reply.

Note in the 'quick reply' box the following text:

It's great to have our own HOME. Everything is working great.
I even found an answer for my time zone problem. (host in UK, I am in US) I read the notes for the contrib so think I'll wait till the order confirm, etc., is resolved.
Anyway, we have reason to celebrate.
ps I'll throw a big bash when I finish my site!!

Hello. Great job! The site looks good.
I noticed that to the right of the screen it says that there are currently 7 guests and no users online. I am logged in. Don't I count?! =-)
Problems:
1. I dont see the www link to our website in the icons, where did it go?
Kudos:
Good to see a more keyword specific domain ;P, and congratulations on finally getting oscmax.com up and running. Though for future reference, please dont use Drupal.......
Rants:
1. Wheres your honor, your entigrity need i say! This site should be Joomla.
Mindless Wanderings:
So now since i've started the topic, lol, why Drupal instead of Joomla?

Site looks great!
Only one thing that I did not see that would have been nice even on the old site:
Can you break the categories down to specific areas of OSCMax such as follows:
Store:
Header
Left Colum
Center
Right
Footer
Admin:
Header
Left Colum
Center
Right
Footer
Or to more spcific areas of OSCmax
Login
products
Images
Store config
I would like to see us break the redundency and cross posting of topics already answered. In the old site there was always the same question being asked and answered more than once. The search capabilities brought up more than what you needed and often not related to your question.
Cisco, it was a huge job just moving all the forums, threads and posts. They will be reorganized in the near future, but duplicate posts will never be eliminated, as people simply do not know how to search.
I never had a problem with the search on the old forums, because I undserstood how to create a decent query and limit it correctly. Within 2 searches I could usually find what I needed. I never understood how people could say, I searched and didn't find it
Especially when I would simply key in the error message or whatever their issue was, and nine out of ten times, the solution to their issue was on the first result page of my first search... But I am rambling... Your point is well taken. The forums are due for a reorganization.
Are you referring to forum topics or documentation topics?
Are you referring to forum topics or documentation topics?
I think a bit of both would work. I have been thinking about how best it would work. Thats why I thaught that narrowed down to sections of the OSCMAX site would work best (left column, Right Column, header, footer, Center Column and some internal areas). Generally that is the area that users are referring to a specific area of the site when they are having an issue. This should help with the redundency and the cross posting. I agree that many times I have seen where users say that they can't find it and the answer is in the documentation for OSCMAX. Need some help to resort the post I can help.
