osCmax v2.5 RC2 Released - discussion

No orders page. All other pages will load except my orders page. I have 2 new orders this am to fill and when I click on orders I get a solid white screen. Please help ASAP

Add that to My List Prpblems Same thing White Screen when clicking on ordrs.

cujo - you are missing catalog/images/icons/pixel_trans.gif in your store - you can see the system trying to replace it with the default image throughout your store.

Also a store width of 500px is very narrow!! Normally people use 980px ...

Still same problem even when i put the pixel_Trans.gif in the correct Dir. as you can see in Screen Shot.

Also every one of my pictures for my product have this above each of the pictures p;

Set Product Quantity to 0 (zero) in the Listing options.
Does appear to be a bug - I used RC1 to track it down, due to not having an RC2 site yet. (Only appears in Grid view)

You are correct it does only do it in Grid mode but changeing the Set product Quantity to 0 Zero made no differance same thing.

i have restored from Backup back to Beta 3 till all the bugs are fixed.

cujo, you should never do an initial upgrade on a live site without doing several test upgrades.

The problems you had with the upgrade are due to the upgrade scripts not completing properly. I had the same issue on one of my servers. I am still working out why it failed and will make adjustments to the sql scripts accordingly. What version of mysql are you running?

Looking at your screenshots from your admin, I can see that your sql was not properly executed by the upgrader (you have missing menu items and that is due to the admin sql not being executed.

I had to upgrade from the changed files. How do I upgrade the sql. I noticed there is an install file. Do I need to run the install file? Is that to upgrade the sql or is that a new install from fresh?

I am running MySQL version5.1.56

When i copy the files over my admin is named something other then admin do i just rename the admin to what mine is called

i renamed my admin before i uploaded it to my server to match my old admin name.
i just assumed you had to or it would create a new folder admin along with your original admin.
but im far from an expert on here so dont take my advice...im just stating what i did and i had no problems.
