osCmax v2.5 Beta-1 Released

I'm looking to update my old 2.0 RC3 copy with 2.5 when it comes out. As far as the templating and functionality goes, if I were to get my template redone and an addon scripted to work with the beta I assume it would then by default all work once the RC came out?

I just don't want to pay for the development only to find out it won't work seamlessly once we're out of beta.

My thoughts at this stage are that we're in the final testing phases and only bug fixes are incoming rather than any major recode?

...how can I implement items that at build of several other items and when it is purchase, all the other items need to built it will also be automatically deducted from the inventory...

I'd also like to get Australian configs added if possible as it's a pain to have to create everything every time I need to install a new copy. It will also help to make OSCmax more complete in the long run

Country wide tax(VAT) is called "Goods and Services Tax" or GST for short. The rate is 10%
Most goods are taxed at this rate, anything that isn't is tax free.

New here and very impressed with osCMax v2.5. Installed it without any trouble and going over the code. Like the separate HTML / code files, wonder if this will become a standard way to program (or is it already and did I miss something?).

Have one question on the configure_bts.php file: Does anybody know the purpose of the "configure_sts.php" in it?

This looks to have been left behind from some attempts at making BTS compatible with the other main templating system in osCommerce - STS. You can ignore it for now as it is set conditionally load the file if it is exists - since it doesn't you don't need to worry!

However, I have added it to the bugtracker for removal.

The STS stuff is there because BTS is compatible with STS (BTS for STS). Look up the mod over at the mothership. If you are not using STS, just ignore it.

I am having a problem when I try to install 2.50 beta-1. I am using.
PHP 5.2.9 and MYSQL V5.07 on Microsoft Server 2003 with Microsoft IIS. PHP is on the Web server with IIS MYSQL is on a Seperate Server 2003 Machine. Install goes through to the finish page. It displays the following error:
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in Z:mysitemystorecataloginstallincludesfunctionsdata base.php on line 39

When I got to the store I get the following error:
1146 - Table 'store250110410.configuration' doesn't exist

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration
I check MSQL and no tables have been created. MYSQL Logs show the connection request and the there is no errors.
