if i have version Current Version: osCMax v2.0 RC3 and osCMax v2.0.2 is there sa upgrade or do i just install over the current files i have i have over 2000 products i do not want to lose and have to put back in and want to keep my customers on both sites

Well for RC3, you will have to manually update as that is a very old version with no easy upgrade path.

v2.0.2, just update it to v2.0.4 by making the small updates posted on this site. Then follow the upgrade instructions in the wiki to get from 2.0.4 to 2.0.25.

Just remember to do test upgrades first and always do database updates on a COPY of your live database, never on the original.

I'm trying to add the Option Type Feature. Obviously, I need to accept a few text inputs from my customers. The "notes" section doesn't cut it, because there needs to be text input options for each product, and not just the order.

I can't see to find any good contribs that work with my version, which is the release 2.0.15 I believe. (whatever the latest version was from about 3 weeks ago).

Can you send me in the right direction?

There is no version that will work with osCMax unless you accept that you will break the Quantity tracking for attributes. If you are ok with breaking that feature, any of the OTF mods should work. This is a feature that we are currently working on for the next major release (2.1). But there is no ETA on that.

I am fine with breaking the quantity tracking because each or our products are made to custom order.

Michael, this may be a really dumb Q.. but where can I find a complete list of changes from 2.0.15 to 2.0.25 I just finished making a ton up changes to my dev 2.0.15 and I mean just....

I have Beyond Compare, and looked at some of the changes.. and some I can blindly commit to.. but some just didnt make sense to me and I stopped.. I see ckeditor was implemented also..

If I had a definitive list I would feel much more comfortable,, I checked the full package 2.0.25, and a few other places around the site.. but can;t find it.. thanks
